First place earns 100 points. Each subsequent place earns one fewer point: second earns 99, third earns 98, and so on.

Angler of the Year
A season is built one event at a time. Here’s how teams earn points toward Angler of the Year.
Participation points
Every team registered for an event receives five additional points for participation.
Regular-season events
Points accumulated across the three regular-season events determine Angler of the Year. Championship placing does not count toward AOY standings.
How ties and zero weights are handled
Tied places receive the same number of points. Teams with a zero weight receive the lowest position’s points. Every participating team receives points, regardless of finishing position.
The season adds up.
AOY standings are based on the total points earned across all three regular-season events, including participation points. The team with the highest total earns Angler of the Year. Championship placing does not affect AOY standings. For questions about scoring, contact the tournament director.
